Health Equity Project (HEP) is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization formed in the United States.

Health Equity Project believes that healthcare is a human right. As such, we fight injustices in inequal access to healthcare, emphasising marginalized and disenfranchised populations.

In addition to advocating for those who are often forgotten by others, we provide direct, on the ground assistance in developing countries by providing medicines, support, and access to quality healthcare providers without regard to one's ability to pay.

We believe in providing education, counselling, care and support for the purpose of reducing inequalities of the poor and marginalized as they access high quality health care. By respecting human dignity and diversity, HEP creates an atmosphere of trust, which enables people living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and other illnesses that disproportionately affect the underserved, to make informed choices. We welcome everyone, regardless of personal circumstance: rich or poor, women, men and children; people of all sexual orientation and gender identities; the mentally ill, and physically challenged people.
